Google Ads

Hi All,
When I saw this I was really excited to try to use it. I know several others who are using the Ning network. The problem I have is with Google Ads. I know they are generated by keywords, but some of them give me great concern. Including ones for white witches, channeling and candle magic. Anything spiritual goes. Since I have no desire or ability to pay 19.95 a MONTH to remove them I think I will continue building my own website which will contain a forum.

Because I use Firefox with AdblockPlus, I see no Google Ads.

You can use Dolphin to create a Social-Network-Site:

But I have no experience with this software.

ah ok I use Firefox with Linux so that works for me but how about all the poor people who dont have Firefox?

Ok we checked out Boonex and it looks REALLY good but is also has Google ads unless oyu pay abig price to be ad free.

well if I can get rid of google ads maybe. Do I have to load the software to my server?

If you us Firefox you can also add another Add-on called NoScript. You can get it / install it via http://www.erweiterungen.de/detail/NoScript/ This little program filters / hinders all Java scripts. You can set the rules in NoScript to allow ning.com, but don't allow googlesyndication.com
If you do this you don't see any Google Ads.
